This cake should be consumed immediately upon pick-up/delivery! If you are storing the cake for longer than 1 hour before cutting, refrigeration is the best option for storing your cake. Kept in the fridge, cake with buttercream or ganache topping will last for 3-4 days. If the cake has custard, cream, cream cheese or fresh fruit topping it will last 1-2 days at most.
Cling wrap or place cake in airtight container to prevent cake from drying and absorbing odor from chiller or freezer. Keep the cake out of direct sunlight as this can melt any frosting and discolor your icing.
